Dress as the display day, the new national holiday?

Hello lovely Brocante customers! Hopefully you are all enjoying the summer so far, apologies for the radio silence over the past few weeks, we have been loving being open (!!) and busy and seeing all of your smiling faces in all of our shops in St Ives, Fowey and Mevagissey. It does however mean that the website has taken a bit of a back seat, we are back on it now and determined to keep it updated and show you lots more of the goodies we have had in our shops.

Today, Sue who works in our Fowey shop came in dressed as the mannequin in the window - Sue definitely wore it best! We thought we would share with you some of the times members of staff have come in inadvertently dressed as the displays…

This beautiful orange lamp was obviously the subconscious inspiration behind Katy’s fab outfit a couple of weeks ago. The lamp is gorgeous so we can see why Katy chose that outfit. Now come the throwbacks.

In 2017 and 2018 Maria came in dressed as a cushion, and also dressed in exactly the same colours as one of the display units, that’s commitment to stock familiarisation. Next up is the member of the team who seems to be dragging their heels with their camouflage, he could do with some tips from Sue, Katy and Maria.

Kieron we can see you in there hiding from Henry the Hoover. If you chose your clothes to match the display you may have got away with it!

Hopefully this lighthearted little blog post has reassured you that we are all still bumbling along (at speed) in Fowey, Mevagissey and St Ives, and although you haven’t heard from us recently, we are here to help with any queries you may have, please do contact us. Now begins the renewed effort to get some more brand spanking new stock online for you to have a browse. Got to go and change our outfits, Katy has changed the displays again!
