Signs of Spring
We have all been out and about walking and running in a bid to make the most of the welcome sunshine over the past few weeks. As some of you may not be able to be here at the moment (but we are so excited for that to change soon), we have put together a few little pockets of Spring, as we see the seasons start to shift.
One of the more obvious and eye catching signs of spring is the flowers around us. We are seeing the last few snowdrops nestled in the hedges, but the daffodils are out in full flow this year. A fragrant bunch of daffodils is a sure sign of positivity is it not? Thank you to Denise and Maria for sharing their gorgeous flowers with us!
One of the less subtle indications that spring is on its way is the arrival of lots of lambs. Our Instagram feeds have been full of newborns now that the lambing season is well underway. The above super cute lamb pics are courtesy of Maria’s friend Cha Cha, although they don’t often stay still enough for photos!
Although we all know how quickly the weather can change, we have been basking in some gorgeous warm sunshine over the last few days. Above shows the newly revamped Fowey Grammar School Garden which is the perfect place to watch the river go by with a coffee, as well as Kieron and David’s sunny day out at the beach. In order to make the most of these warm days whilst they are here (do not check the weather forecast for the end of this week, not so lovely…) Kieron and David fired up their bbq and fire pit - marshmallows anyone? Obviously blankets were required, but what a lovely way to make the most of the good weather whilst we are at home.
Orla and Uncle David are ready for the next burst of sunshine, luckily Kieron has a broad selection of sunglasses to match every outfit (did we mention he likes shopping?) Super cool.
